Brian Rhodes is a Christian, a husband, a father, a farmer, and a conservative Republican. A life-long resident of Rankin County, Brian is a third-generation poultry and cattle farmer. He bought his first poultry farm while in college in 2007. In 2008, he married the former Ashley Laird of Morton. Together they own ten poultry houses and a cow-calf operation of about 100 head of commercial beef cattle.
Ashley and Brian are both graduates of East Rankin Academy and Mississippi State University. They’ve been married for 14 years and have three children – two daughters and a son. Ashley taught in the Rankin County school district for five years before becoming a full time homemaker.
